So in a nut shell, Games For Windows Live needs to be installed (not needed to be used), as the game still looks for dependencies, not my fault, take it up with Bethesda and Steam. The changes it makes only take the programme a second or two to do. All perfectly safe to do so, you can run virus scanners and rootkit programmes, my little programme is perfectly safe. My programmes also makes changes to some files and the registry. Yes, I know its a Steam Game, and Bethesda and Steam should of fixed the LIVE section of the game. You don't need to log in with Games For Windows Live, it just needs to be installed because of the dependencies. So it will scan for the install, if its not there, it will tell you to install it. There are some issues around Windows 8.xx/10 with xlive.dll not being able to be accessed correctly. It will search for Games For Windows Live, this programme needs to be installed in order for it work.
Will write out default ini files for FO3 and NV if they are missing. Just the minial required files to boot over.
Nor does it install any save game files either. Don't worry, its all self installing, and does NOT add any file that is not required. These are required if you are doing a default install.
